Meta only provides a 24-hour response window for the Facebook Messenger channel. With the PRO plan, your agents will receive a 7-day response window.
This can be a lifesaver, especially if the business is closed for the weekend, or holidays, or if the issue requires more than 24 hours to resolve.
Proactive messages
Proactive Messages let a Facebook Page send messages beyond the standard window to people who’ve opted in. This helps build relationships with interested users and engages them with your company.
You can use Proactive messages to send one-on-one messages beyond the 7-day response window, launch mass marketing campaigns, or send your audiences a recurring newsletter.
Welcome Screen
Showcase your brand on Messenger with the Welcome Screen. It contains the name of your business’s Facebook Page, the profile picture and cover photo from your Facebook Page, the time it usually takes for your business to respond to messages, and finally, a customizable greeting message you can set up in LiveChat for each of your Facebook Pages. Available in LiveChat starting from June '25.

Ice Breakers
Icebreakers are a great way to help your customers start a conversation with your business using a list of frequently asked questions. You can configure up to four questions to guide your customers on what they can do next when engaging with your brand. Available in LiveChat starting from June '25.

Upgrading to the PRO plan
Go to the Facebook Messenger Dashboard. At the top, you will see a blue banner.
Click the Upgrade for $39/month button.

Click on Confirm to finalize the payment.
And viola! Now you have access to Facebook Messenger PRO.
