Welcome Messages are automated greetings sent to customers when they first open a WhatsApp conversation, providing basic business info and a friendly introduction. It can be customized for each business number.
Welcome messages are temporarily disabled by Meta, with no timeline for when they’ll be restored. To create a Welcome message, please check this article.
Creating Welcome Message
To create the Welcome Message, go to the WhatsApp app in your LiveChat and then to the Connected numbers subtab. After that, click on the Automations button.
When the Message field is filled, please click Save.
