All WhatsApp numbers onboarded after 28th Aug 2026, won’t have access to conversations billing. Instead, adding payment method in Meta is mandatory to be able to send messages.
This change allows you to reduce per message cost by up to 72% compared to sending these messages via conversations billing in LiveChat.
Conversations Billing allows you to top up your wallet and spend it on more conversations. You’ll need to find your message category and the destination country.

Setting up
To start with Conversation Billing, go to WhatsApp Business in the LiveChat and click on the Conversations billing subtab. Then, you need to click on Add funds.
In this window, you can choose how much to add to your wallet and decide if you'd like it to be a one-time or monthly recurring payment.
