Number deletion

Number deletion is possible from the LiveChat WhatsApp Business, Connected Numbers tab. If you’d like to remove the number from WhatsApp, you should click on the “Delete” button.

After that, you will be redirected to your Meta Business profile

Simply find the number you’re planning to delete and go ahead and delete it. After Meta removes your number, changes will be automatically synchronized with LiveChat.

After clicking Delete, you’ll see the following message:

It’s a warning about losing access to this number. When you click the next button, you must provide a Meta password and choose the reason for deletion.

After that, you’ll be forwarded to WhatsApp Manager.

As you can see, the number is still visible and shown as “connected”. Usually, it takes a few minutes for your number to be removed from this list.
